With Britney Spears and L.A. Reid out the door, The X Factor is in the market for some brand spanking new judges for next season! So who does show creator and fellow judge Simon Cowell want to join his crew? Well, none other than on-again/off-again celebrity boos Katy Perry and John Mayer!
Simon sees it as a brilliant pairing. Katy’s sassy, honest and a huge star, while John’s more reserved. Having them as rivals would be genius – if they had on-air bust-ups, it’d be unmissable.
While Simon is certainly right about Katy, we just can’t see John agreeing to a reality TV show. Isn’t he supposed to be some sort of musical genius or something? He just doesn’t seem to fit the bill…
Although nothing has been confirmed by either singers’ camp, nothing has been denied either – so we can only assume that both Katy and John are both 100% IN for X Factor Season 3 ;)
Oooooh Demi Lovato is sure to get her panties in a twist over this one! Another pretty brunette on set? We smell a feud!
